Answers to the things people most often ask before their first call with us.
It depends on the scope, but most projects fall between £3,000 and £14,000 as a fixed fee. We quote after the free discovery call, once we understand what you need. There are no hourly charges and no hidden extras.
Yes. About a third of our clients are elsewhere in the UK. Most of the work happens over video calls, shared documents and email. We travel to your site when the project requires it, for example during an operational audit where we need to shadow your team.
Our clients typically have between 5 and 120 employees and turn over between £300k and £10m a year. We have worked with sole traders on occasion, but our methods are most useful when there is a team and some operational complexity to work with.
That varies by project. Operational efficiency improvements often show measurable savings within 8 to 12 weeks. Growth strategy work tends to take a full 90-day cycle before the numbers move. Financial modelling deliverables are usually ready within two to three weeks.
We spend about 30 minutes on a video call. We ask about your business, your goals and the specific problem you want to solve. We listen, ask follow-up questions and tell you whether we think we can help. If we can, we outline the next steps and send a written proposal within a few days. There is no charge and no obligation.
What to expect after you get in touch
Once your message arrives, here is what happens. We read it the same day it comes in. If you contact us during business hours, expect a reply within a few hours. Messages that arrive over the weekend get a response by Monday morning.
In our reply we will suggest two or three time slots for a video call. Pick one that works for you. The call is free and lasts about half an hour. We will ask you some questions about your revenue, your team size, your biggest frustration and what you have already tried. You do not need to prepare anything formal, though having last year's accounts to hand can be useful.
After the call, if we think there is a fit, we send a short written proposal. It covers the scope, the timeline, the fixed fee and what you will receive at the end. You take as long as you need to decide. We do not chase or pressure. If you want to go ahead, we schedule the kick-off within two weeks.
